Amarillo committee reallocates funding to Transformation Park

Local officials approved a reallocation of funding to support services transitioning to Transformation Park following the closure of the Guyon Saunders Resource Center in December 2025. Core services for individuals experiencing homelessness and hunger are being moved to Transformation Park’s Street Center, strengthening coordinated care and access to resources in one location.
