Billy’s old bunk; how an unhoused man found his footing in Amarillo

The Amarillo Tribune recently featured Billy, a resident of Transformation Park, in a story about his journey to stability. After arriving in Amarillo with very little, Billy first stayed at the Salvation Army men’s shelter before moving into a pallet home at Transformation Park. The article highlights how both organizations supported him as he pursued employment, purchased a car, and began rebuilding his life.
